Curious if others have gotten this error. I installed the Gen4 ECU alongside the 2muchsun adaptor and it works pretty well. However, I noticed if I show up with a low battery to a 250kW supercharger, the session dies out after 10 minutes with the following errors:
CP_a110_thermalVelocityHigh: The charge port (CP) electronic control unit (ECU) detects an unexpected rapid rise in temperature. The CP ECU detects that thermal velocity, which is calculated each minute, exceeds the expected increase rate of temperature.
BMS_a174_SW_Charge_Failure: The battery management system (BMS) has encountered an issue while charging or attempting to charge.
and another about the Supercharger stall failing. I unfortunately didn’t take a picture of that one.
Re-installing the Gen3 ECU and removing the bundle of wires results in no errors during a low state of charge.
Any pointers? April 2019 build date Model 3 AWD, USA.
That’s so kind of you. The shipping address is the same. Thank you.
